It's no secret that COVID-19 has made this past year crazier than any of us could
expect, but with unexpected problems come unexpected opportunities. My
original plan after graduating college was to move out of my parents' house and
find a job working for a graphic design firm. However, due to various pandemic-related
circumstances, I've had to stay inside pretty much since March. This forced me to
look for work I could do from home, and since graduation, I have been working as
a remote video editor for two different organizations; The Agile Coach (which focuses on creating educational content for future scrum masters, product managers, team leaders etc.) and RoomieOfficial (which focuses on creating comedy/music commentary videos). Although
becoming a remote freelancer isn't at all what I expected to be doing, I am more than
happy with the new experienes I've been given, and I'm excited to see what future has in store!
